Carbondale Main Street is partnering with Southern Illinois University Fermentation Science Institute and Southern Illinois Brewers to bring you CarbondALE Brew Fest again in 2020!

CarbondALE Brew Fest will be held in the Town Square Pavilion on Friday, May 1st rain or shine from 6pm-9pm with early entry for VIP and an after party at Hangar 9 beginning at 9pm.

Advance tickets are $25 for General Admission and include a souvenir tasting glass and tastes, $45 for VIP, which include a premium tasting glass, tastes, early entry to the Fest and more! Pricing will be $30 for General Admission and $50 VIP at the door!

Carbondale Main Street will be using the funds from this festival to continue improvement and revitalization efforts in Downtown Carbondale which includes; facade improvement grants, free community events, landscaping projects and more!

Carbondale Main Street is proud to help improve and promote the downtown district of Carbondale, Illinois. As a part of the National Main Street program, Carbondale Main Street specializes in economic development, organization, design as well as promotion in the downtown area. Carbondale Main Street is a resource for the businesses in the downtown district; offering design assistance grants and promotional tools for all of our retail and service locations, restaurants, and other establishments. Carbondale Main Street also plans and helps to coordinate the special events in downtown, including the Fourth Friday Fairs, Carbondale Classic and The Lights Fantastic Parade.

Overview of Agency

The Institute provides an umbrella for the support and development of programs (educational, research and outreach) involving the various aspects of fermentation processes and products/byproducts. The Institute acts as a catalyst and support structure to spur and foster growth in regional industries involving fermentation, including the associated agricultural production of fermentation feedstock, the production of fermentation products, and the associated tourism and service industries.
